Get involvedEducation. Advocacy. Connection.
Change the
conversation.
Change lives.
Addiction is a health condition, not a moral failure. We replace judgment with facts, barriers with connection, and silence with action.

Our mission
Stigma isolates.
Connection saves lives.
Silence the Stigma Outreach Project works to reduce stigma, expand access to evidence-based care, and connect people with recovery and harm-reduction resources.
We believe people deserve dignity, accurate information, and real choices. Our work brings education into the community, supports people navigating complicated systems, and advocates for care rooted in evidence—not punishment.
Why it matters
Addiction does not discriminate.
Stigma does.
Behind every statistic is a person who deserves compassion, evidence-based care, and the opportunity to recover.
Crisis and treatment resources are available
Judgment-free support is the standard we work toward
What we do
From awareness
to action.
We turn honest conversations into practical support for individuals, families, professionals, and communities.
Education that changes minds
Practical, evidence-based education about addiction, recovery, medications for opioid use disorder, harm reduction, and the impact of stigma.
Resources without judgment
Connections to treatment, recovery support, naloxone, safer-use supplies, and community services—wherever someone is in their journey.
Advocacy that opens doors
We challenge discrimination and policy barriers in healthcare, corrections, and the community while centering dignity and patient choice.
